Dr. Dmitriy Mikhol, DC
Dr. Dmitriy moved from Russia to New Jersey at a young age. His dad had a strong background in Olympic weightlifting and Greco-Roman wrestling, which influenced his athletic journey. He grew up as a mutli-sport athlete, from ice hockey to gymnastics. In high school, he continued to focus on football and wrestling, as well as picking up lacrosse.
During his last semester of chiropractic school, Dr. Dmitriy had a surfing accident where he suffered a fractured leg, ankle, and torn ligaments. This is where he truly began to understand the complications between
healthcare and insurance. With his current knowledge and passion for a proper diagnosis, Dr. Dmitriy was able to avoid unnecessary surgeries that surgeons recommended. Instead, he was able to rehab his injury himself through proper exercise selection.
Being surrounded by sports his entire life, Dr. Dmitriy likes to treat all his patients like athletes. His sports resume and understanding of anatomy and biomechanics helps curate personalized programs for his patients. His approach to care combines chiropractic therapy and physical rehabilitation. He understands this combination truly allows the patient to adapt to their best potential.
Today, Dr. Dmitriy strives to be his best by working hard in the gym. Living in California his last few years, he picked up new hobbies including golf, surfing, and pickleball. Being from the East Coast, Dr. Dmitriy still loves his winters so he enjoys taking up snowboarding!
